Transformer is a kind of stable voltage in the circuit, to ensure the stability of the voltage and current in the circuit, for the transformer, it is itself a kind of electrical equipment, in a variety of circuits is to play a huge role and a variety of advantages. The transformer has its own voltage and current, and there are generally two kinds of transformers on the voltage, one is line voltage and phase voltage. They are two different voltages in the transformer, both connected and different, so what is the relationship between them?

The line voltage is the phase voltage three times the square root sign, which refers to the voltage between the live lines.

The phase voltage is the voltage between each phase and the neutral line. It’s the voltage between each live line and the neutral line.

The line voltage refers to the voltage between the lines leading from the three-phase device. The phase current refers to the current flowing through a phase coil of the three-phase device, and the phase voltage is the voltage applied to a separate set of coils. For the three-phase four-wire system, the phase voltage refers to the voltage between the phase line and the neutral line. For triangular connection, the line voltage is equal to the phase voltage, and the line current is equal to the root of the phase current 3 times. For a star connection, the line current is equal to the phase current, and the line voltage is equal to three times the square root of the phase voltage. For the actual use of three-phase equipment, such as transformers, motors, etc., it is easier to measure the line current and line voltage than the equipment that measures the phase current and phase voltage, so the nameplate is marked with line current and line voltage.

Load current on the secondary side of the transformer: line current = phase current, line voltage between the three phases, phase voltage between any phase and the neutral line.

In symmetrical three-phase circuit, phase voltage or line voltage can be calculated, but the formula is different.

Line voltage calculation formula:

P = 1.732 * U * I

The calculation formula of phase voltage is adopted:

P=3×U×I

The introduction of the two voltages of the transformer and the related calculation methods are introduced here. For the two voltages of the transformer, it is necessary to play a greater role and various advantages to ensure the stability of the transformer adjustment voltage and achieve the safe and stable operation of the transformer!
